Welcome to learn.theartofjoomla.com. This site is an exciting new initiative and I'm very pleased to finally be able to introduce it to the Joomla development community.

This site aims to become the premiere learning centre for Joomla 1.5 and Joomla 1.6 development.  There is a mix of written tutorial for general reference topics, but the most exciting part is the new video training for Joomla 1.6.  Joomla 1.6 gives the developer more flexibility and more API to play.  In addition, Joomla 1.6's architecture has been streamlined in many areas and that cuts down on repetitive coding.  The video content is presented at a relaxed pace and with a lot of background information so you aren't just blindly copy-pasting code and hoping that it works.

All teaching videos have been produced in high quality HD 720P format to ensure you have an excellent viewing experience at full resolution.

There are a number of subscription plans to choose from to suit your budget.  To celebrate this launch, I'm offering 6 months of access to the site at only AU$55 - that's almost half price.  That plan is great value if you want to keep up to date with information about Joomla 1.6 and future releases.  There are also a number of free lessons so please take advantage of them.
